KSP's Mansi Zaveri recently caught up with two young TED speakers who are making waves in Dharavi, Mumbai. Dipali Kadam, 16 and Savita Soni, 15 years are both residents of the famous Mumbai area-Dharavi, which is the largest slum in the world and houses close to 1 million people. Together with Nawneet Ranjan, from Dharavi Diary, they have created apps that help people in their area.

Both the girls come from very humble backgrounds but have not let that deter them from getting what they want – a better life for the people around them.

Nawneet Ranjan the force behind Dharavi Diary saw the spark and enthusiasm among the kids when he went to film the slum. They lacked resources and guidance to make their dreams come true and that's what Dharavi Diary does using stories and innovation to give them skillsets to help better the conditions they all live in.

Watch the video to get inspired by these two young girls, who went ahead despite opposition from people around them.
