If your baby’s first word is Wi-Fi or download, you know you are raising a tech geek!

But how do we, as parents ensure they are safe in the big, wide digital world? Is the cyber world, a safe place for our children to hang out and spend most of their time in the day? At the KSP Awards 2019, Mansi Zaveri discussed this topic with Ashutosh Parekh of Voot Kids.

The discussion threw light on the serious topics of cyber safety, cyber crimes and what parents need to remember when they let their kids spend time, unassumingly on the internet. Did you know that almost 70% of the cybercrimes that happen with kids go unreported in our country?

How can we as parents ensure what our kids consume in the digital world is something age-appropriate, is safe, and is not a bigger web that drags them into something more dangerous? We ask all these questions and we are thankful to Ashutosh Parekh for answering them from every pint of view- from a parent, from a platform like Kidsstoppress, as digital content providers themselves. He says the digital world is a reflection of the actual world and that’s what we need to teach our kids.
