It is a tradition that I remember fondly from my childhood and I couldn’t wait to share it with my kids!
Every Sankranthi, to mark the festival my dad and I would head up to the terrace to fly kites. And we would always buy our paper kites from the same seller each year. So to take this tradition a step further with my children, I thought why not make these kites at home! And while we are at it, make them as quirky and fun as possible!
So here is a step by step guide to making your own kite at home. Make sure you let your imagination run wild to create quirky designs! While you’re at it, make these yummy til ke ladoo to add to festivities. Food makes everything happier right?
