Good Moms Don’t Work, They Said. Really?!

Don’t let other people’s narratives define you. You define your normal for your family and what works best for your family. You weren’t meant to fit in someone else’s story.

Good moms don’t work. well at least, they don’t choose to work.

That’s the narrative I have heard like a broken record with my firstborn, most definitely not when I was growing up. For the past seven years, my business has been my baby and my babies have been building it alongside me. They have held the camera, packed products, written labels, packed goodie bags, done running around for awards, edited videos, sold products, stood at exhibitions (a lot of you have met them doing that), helped me build better products, spoken about my interviews with their teachers both when I started from my couch to my office (and back on the couch in 2020).

We at Kidsstoppress have chosen what suits us- and are working towards building that. 'Coz we believe in it- as a team. As mothers.

Don’t let other people’s narratives define you. You define your normal for your family and what works best for your family. You weren’t meant to fit in someone else’s story.
