Hairstyles for girls

There is no denying that as a mom of a girl I absolutely adore dressing her up but also that my daughter’s hair is so silky that if I dont braid it or pin it well, its lose and untidy in no time. 5 Strand Braidhttp://youtu.be/OZEsf2uXzZUHope you enjoy the braided bit and try these on your little girls.

Whether its early morning school or play date. My daughters hairstyles always draw attention. There is no denying that as a mom of a girl I absolutely adore dressing her up but also that my daughter’s hair is so silky that if I dont braid it or pin it well, its lose and untidy in no time.

Also while the kids are at school and busy with outdoor activities & play I prefer the hair to be neat & pulled back. So here are a few hairstyles that I have tried with my princess and they are an absolute delight to make and quite easy. Watch the tutorials to get it right. It’s not going to be perfect at the first go but after 2 – 3 times you will learn it. I try and do a lot of these on my hair too. 🙂

1. Fishtail Braid:

2. Milk Maid Braid

3. Classic French Braid: What I absolutely love about this one is the multiple ways you can take this. We try and part the hair into two and take two french braids. One on either side. This is a sure shot way of keeping the hair intact for atleast 4 to 5 hours.

4. Dutch Braid: You can either end this easy braid in a pony tail or a continued braid
