Madhuri Dixit, the mother of two kids has recently been appointed as United Nations Children’s Fund’s (UNICEF) “Celebrity advocate for child rights.â€_x009d_ The Bollywood diva says that she is honoured to get associated with a cause that is close to her heart. Madhuri Dixit The actress strongly feels that protection for child right is very important. “Each child should get proper nutrition, upbringing and education. I really feel strongly about that and I am honoured to be associated with Unicef. “I want to work hard for it and make a difference in people’s life. If I can make a difference in somebody else’s life then I will consider myself fortunate,” Madhuri told PTI. The diva also supports prevention of child labour and child trafficking. Bollywood personalities like Priyanka Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan and Sharmila Tagore are also a part of UNICEF’S other programmes. Madhuri Dixit was last seen on screen in Gulaab Gang and currently the diva is working as a judge on a dance reality show, Jhalak Dhikla jaa. Image source: tntmagazine.in
