You now know parenting is a tough journey, But what if there was something to help you sail through it with a little popcorn and more laughter? Luckily, there is! Netflix has added a world of new kids shows to their collection that just made life easier for parents! Just snuggle together in front of the idiot box as a family and enjoy weekend nights watching your favourite TV shows

Here are some of our favourites on Netflix for the kids this season. 

1. Motown Magic

 

For ages: 3+

What is it about: Imaginative boy, Ben, transforms his city by bringing colour street art to life and he is armed with a magic paintbrush and the classic sounds of Motown. 

2. Super Monsters (Season 2)

 

For ages: 4+ 

What is it about: The series is about a group of preschool kids, whose parents are the world’s most famous monsters, trying to master their special powers while preparing for kindergarten.

3. “My Dad the Bounty Hunter”

For ages: 7+

What is it about: An intergalactic bounty hunter takes dad duty to new extremes when his two kids accidentally hitch a ride with him to outer space and crash his mission.

4. YooHoo to the Rescue 

 

For ages: 

What is it about: In a series of magical missions, quick-witted YooHoo and his can-do crew travel the globe to help animals in need.

5. Trolls: The Beat Goes On! (Season 4)

 

Age group: 6+

What is it about: The upbeat adventures of Poppy, Branch and the rest of the residents of Troll Village, as they keep the party going in their forest.

6. The Boss Baby: Back in Business

 

Age group: 6+

What is it about: With a little help from his brother and accomplice, Tim, Boss Baby tries to balance family life with his job at Baby Corp. headquarters.

7. Trollhunters- Part 3 

 

For ages: 10+

What it is about: The highly imaginative adventure series for kids that tells you the story of a high school student who stands up against the big, bad guys- both in his regular world and his special world against the trolls. There is friendship, courage, loyalty- all being taught but there is some amount of violence and fighting too- that makes it suitable for the older kids and not the very young ones. 

8. Treehouse Detectives- Season 1

 

For ages: 2+

What it is about:  This South Korean animation series shows the adventures of a brother-sister duo and how they set about solving crimes in their area. The little ones will love this. 

9. True: Magical Friends- Season 1

 

For ages: 3+

What it is about: This one is all about the power of friendship that can solve any problem. The Rainbow Kingdom’s Cue Bartleby and True are all set to rescue the world! 

10. Hotel Transylvania- The Series

 

For ages: 5+

What it is about: A doting dad, a beautiful daughter, a monster’s retreat and an innocent backpacker- this is what this movie is all about. As much as the dad wants his family to stay away from humans, he notices his half-human daughter and the young lad falling for each other. What does he do next? Find out.

11. Gabby’s Dollhouse

For ages: 2+

What it is about: Cute cats, quirky crafts and colorful magic! Join kitty enthusiast Gabby and her sidekick Pandy Paws as they team up for a series of animated adventures.

12. Llama Llama

For ages: 2+

What it is about: Beloved children’s book character Llama Llama springs to life in this heartwarming series about family, friendship, and learning new things.

13. Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts (2 Seasons)

For ages: 7+

What it is about: Making her way through a world of mutant animals, a sheltered yet scrappy girl learns how to survive — and get home — with help from her ragtag crew.

14. The Healing Powers of Dude

For ages: 8+

What it is about: When an 11-year-old boy with social anxiety disorder starts middle school, he finds strength in a scruffy emotional support dog named Dude.

15. Glitch Techs Series

For ages: 8+

What it is about: Two teens work at a game store as a front for their actual job: Hunting video game monsters who’ve broken out into the real world.

16.Family Reunion

For ages: 9+

What it is about: When the McKellan family moves from Seattle to small-town Georgia, life down South — and traditional grandparents — challenge their big-city ways.

17. Mighty Little Bheem

For ages: 2+

What it is about: An innocent toddler’s boundless curiosity — and extraordinary might — lead to mischief and adventure in his small Indian town.

18. Word Party Songs

For ages: All ages

What it is about: Sing along and dance with Bailey, Franny, Kip, Lulu and Tilly in this collection of music videos that will get you in the mood to move and groove!

19. Starbeam

For ages: 4+

What it is about: When colorful villains come out to play, 8-year-old Zoey has the power to transform into StarBeam, a kid-sized superhero. She saves the day, every day!

20. Emily’s Wonder Lab

For ages: 6+

What it is about: Science-loving host Emily Calandrelli makes STEAM fun with activities, demonstrations and at-home experiments that’ll make you think — and blow your mind!
