"Inspired by India- Made for little hands" screams their tagline. At Bharat Babies, an initiative started by Sailaja Joshi, who is based in the United States, they work towards publishing inclusive children's books that cater to the Indian-American kids so they stay connected to their Indian roots. Bharat Babies has published a range of board books, art series, illustrated books and books to cater to the early readers.

On respecting and honouring the differences:
Their popular book "Always Anjali" penned by actress Sheetal Shah is aimed at kids aged 3-9 years and is about a feisty little girl Anjali and teaches kids how to celebrate and honour one's differences. NRI kids who often hear from their friends about how their name sounds different from the rest can relate to this book.
