It is time to create awareness about Autism.

Parents with children who have ASD will tell you there just isn't enough awareness about it in our country. What does it mean when you say your child is autistic? Many people have no idea. April is autism awareness month and to increase understanding and awareness about autism, UK based National Autistic Society launched a campaign called 'Too Much Information' along with a video showing exactly what a child with autism goes through while walking through a mall. A seemingly mundane task such as walking through a mall can take its toll on someone with autism. The many, myriad sights, sounds and smells can cause a sensory overload and overwhelm the person. This video is a crude but very effective way of depicting just that.
