If you are a KSP Book Club member, you are familiar with our recommendations for children- categorised by their age and interests and more importantly a healthy mix of books by Indian and International authors. We have told you why it is important to expose your kids to what's happening around them, in addition to getting them to fall in love with the Hogwarts world or Faraway Tree!

In today's children's literature field, it is a delight to see so many new Indian authors carving a name for themselves and ably supported by a world of popular Indian publishers. And it is also imperative we honour, celebrate and recognise the achievements that help motivate them further to do what they do best- inspire children with their words!

Neev Literature Festival in its 4th year is one such popular platform that helps find and showcase children's books that tell them about stories with Indian characters and places. We were delighted to join hands with them and their elite jury panel that hosted big names in the kids' literary field such as:

  • Rasil Kaur Ahuja, Children's Writer & Co-Chair, India
  • Gita Varadarajan, Children's Writer & School Educator, USA
  • Katie Day, Teacher-Librarian, Singapore
  • Nadine Bailey, Teacher-Librarian, China
  • Colin Kelman, School Educator- India
  • Anuradha Ruhil Barua, School Educator- India
  • Myra Bacsal, University Professor, UAE
  • Kamakshi  Murti, University Professor, USA
  • Dhooleka S Raj, Anthropologist & Co-Chair, Thailand
