What’s not to love about a chia pudding? It is easy to make, packed with nutrients, and breakfast comes together in one simple step, straight from the refrigerator! For parents on the go, getting ready while getting their kids ready for school, this is a definite must try!

This recipe combines chocolate and orange, a match made in heaven. It also has no added sugar making it perfect to start your day. Try it with your kids and let us know how it turned out in the comments below.

 
Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk/any milk of your preference
  • 1 ripe spotty banana
  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 12 almonds, flaked
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
  • Zest of one orange
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter

Method
  • In a bowl mash a banana, to this whisk in the milk, yogurt and nut butter until well combined.
  • Now mix the chia seeds into this. Finally stir in the almonds, orange juice and the orange zest.
  • Cover and rest overnight or at least for 4 hours. Enjoy!
  • Please adjust sweetness by adding honey if you prefer.
