While we know it is important to talk to our children about topics such as gender equality, cyberbullying, about what is happening in the world, we have also realized that it is also important to talk to your child about body image. Who would have thought that? It is very important to talk about F-word. When we mean F we mean fat.
This is one of the trickiest conversations but take baby steps, don’t continuously stress about the scale in front of your child, teach your kids empathy and you will be on the road to raising a responsible child who believes in being strong and fit.
