Evaluation is serious business say the founders, we have report cards, incentives and add-on material. Their humour in education ideas have been tested on 2500+ children by their core team which spent thousands of hours making the product better, and worked with educators, parents and experts from the corporate world to change the face of education. LaughGuru believes that 5 – 8th grade are foundation years for students who are gearing up for their board exams and this a phase where the students are responsible enough to years where the pressure kicks in. Why did they develop LaughGuru?
LaughGuru is a labour of love born out of several late-night discussions over numerous cups of coffee, where the team realized that they had forgotten a lot of what was taught in school. Maybe it was just something fundamentally wrong with the education system in India – where we learn to mug stuff up, to write perfect answers in our exams, and to forget all of these the second our vacations start.
