Mimi & Maggie, a boutique brand in America, recently launched in India and we are so happy! If you are wondering why then you have to see the product to believe that yes these kind of tasteful clothing is now available in India.
We caught up with Amol who has officially brought this brand that is tastefully designed in California and handmade in India to the Urban Indian customer who is looking for more than pink and frills for kids. Amol who has a family business in garment manufacturing & exports for the last 30 years actually would have loved to create his own brand but none of the designers matched the vision and aesthetics that Amol hoped for.  He continued his research and groundwork but was constantly drawn to Mimi & Maggie apparel that was manufactured in his own factory. Season after season the styles, colors and designs would kept on improving and resonated with just what Amol wanted. With a few leftover pieces being shared with friends who had babies Amol knew that this brand is just what Indian parents were looking for. Amol with the team at Mimi and Maggie launched this brand in India earlier this year and here we now have it in India.
What we love:Â
1. Is when little girls themselves pick out a Mimi & Maggie outfit for themselves. They are sure to do that.
2. When some fully grown adults/parents ask to make the styles for grown-ups as well. I am sure that sounds familiar.
3. The infant section has enough options for boys and really cute ones.
4. The fabric feel and comfort.
5. The design which is very tasteful and spirited.
6. A lot of the dresses such that they can be paired with jeans, shorts, pants or leggings later on and can be worn as tunics too. This ensures that the garments you purchase don’t go waste in just one season.
In this world where kids aspire to look and act like adults and where brands also try to cater to that by making miniature versions of their adult clothing, they are trying to go the other way around.
Age Group: Newborns to  14 years. Rompers for boys are only up to 18 months.

Rs 1000 – Rs 2000 for apparel.
Rs 300- Rs 400 for hair accessories.
