You know, we see all those photos or reels where people seem to lounge on a floating sofa or play chess with multiple versions of themselves? And we’re like Wow! That seems like crazy. The kids & I are going to love it. Well! Mumbai just got its own Paradox Museum with mind-bending visual tricks, blending art and science – a place for adults & kids to have fun.
So if you are looking for an exciting way to keep the kids & yourselves entertained this weekend then we’ve found an incredible spot that your whole family will love!
What Is Paradox Museum?
The Paradox Museum, founded by Miltos Kambourides and Sakis Tanimanidis, was first launched in Oslo, Norway, in early 2022 and is now expanding to other parts of the world. It is a global brand recognized as one of the most innovative spaces in experiential entertainment.
They accomplish this by continuously developing interactive, engaging, and endlessly entertaining spaces through interactive entertainment. Each venue represents the essence of this mission, offering a unique experience designed to engage, entertain, and challenge perceptions.
Tell Me More
- Spread across a 10,000-sq-ft space here science mingles with fun at the museum’s 50 installations and experiences.
- It is an amazing place for kids to learn cool science facts and have fun – a smart combination of art, science, psychology, and optical illusions.
- They have a cafeteria opening soon & will also be open for private event bookings.
There are many rooms for the kids and you to experience together and make memories. We have only mentioned a few of them below for you to get a glimpse of all the fun that’s in store for you.
- The Water Paradox is one of the exhibits that is exclusive to the Mumbai Museum. You enter an all-blue room, only to appear completely submerged in water. This installation takes advantage of a strobe light and a slight lag in the human vision and brain to process images. Quite an experience!
- Another popular room is the Reverse Room which challenges the laws of gravity, showcasing mirrors on both the floor and ceiling, arched alcoves in the walls, and staircases in every direction.
- The Paradox Sofa is exactly what its name suggests. It’s like witnessing a glitch in the matrix. Tuck part of your body into the specially designed holes of the sofa, and you’ll see your lower half remain in one place while your torso and head seem to be sitting a meter away. This setup creates a truly surreal photo opportunity.
