Lunch for kids doesn’t always have to be the plain rice and daal. Lets face it even if I had to eat that all the time I would also get bored of it! So cant really blame the kids! And Yes i do agree that lunch has to be healthy but it doesn’t have to be boring! So give your kids a change and surprise them with this new this!
Ingredients:
- 1 tortilla wrap/Paratha/Roti
- Peas, sweet corn, carrots, peppers, any veggie that you both agree on
- Olive oil
- Any tomato sauce ( I used tomato pasta sauce)
- Grated cheese
- Salt and pepper
Method:
- Boil the vegetables with some olive oil and a pinch of salt.
- When soft, drain the water and stir in the tomato sauce (keeping the heat still on)
- Add a little grated cheese into the sauce and let it melt.
- Season with pepper, a pinch of salt and any other spices your kids may like
- Pour the sauce onto the wrap and add the rest of the grated cheese on the top.
- Roll up the wraps and enjoy it hot
See your kids gobble it up within seconds. And they will not even notice the healthy veggies hiding in the wrap!
