1.Story sessions at Goodearth

Kidsstoppress & Good Earth have curated a series of workshops especially for the rainy days that will stimulate those little minds. Each week we bring a new workshop for kids that will be engaging and creative.  This 28 June weekend too they don’t disappoint. 2.’The Wind in the Willows’ play at Prithvi Theater 

The Stage Craft Theatre, Nagpur, brings to you the classic ‘Wind in the Willows’ on June 28, 11am. It follows the book closely. It interweaves the narrative of the Kenneth Grahame book, mime, music and dialogue. It follows the characters and their story so beautifully, it is a must watch whether or not your child has been introduced to the book. 3.Lunch with Lilies- Bombay Natural History Society

Is your child very much into plants and knowing about them? Or does she/he every now and then bring back flowers for you plucked from the garden? Or is she/he absolutely clueless of the nature and you want to sensitize them? If yes, then you must go for the Lunch with Lilies event organized with the Bombay Natural History Society on Junw 29 between 9.30am and 2.30pm. They take you to the forest where you get to see the lilies in full bloom adding to the beauty of the forest. This is the best season to see this. 4. Mouse and the Flying Lamborghini

A great way to spend a Saturday is reading and a better way to spend it is by heading to Kitab Khana. Saturdays are abuzz usually with events for kids and book launches! This 28th of June is the book launch for a very interesting book called ‘The Mouse and the flying Lamborghini’ by Seema Chatt. Join her while she takes through a wild ride in her flying red Lamborhini, an adventurous mouse and a mysterious bird. 5. Kindles Pottery Classes

Get ready to get your hands dirty! This weekend get creative and messy with a fun and interesting pottery class by Kindles Pottery Classes. 6.Monsoon Trek to Matheran from Dhodani

The Bombay Natural History Society is organizing a fantastic trek from Matheran to Dhodani for young adults on June 29 between 6.30am to 7.00pm. It’s a great time to be in Matheran, the weather makes the trek a pleasant and you learn a lot from the trek. So if your kids are the adventurous ones the this is a great way to have them spend their Sunday. They get to trek through dense forests and spot birds and plants. Get them out of the Sunday Bombay heat and into a the land of greenery and fun!

 7. FireFly session by Grassroutes  

With barely 15 days left you cannot miss the FireFlies session by Grassroutes. Monsoon being the mating season for glow worms, they are found in large numbers. Head to Purushwadi and witness a spectacular lightening show by the lightening bugs in colors like red, green and yellow. This event is a part of the ‘Tentastic Champions’ program and helps reach out to children to develop reading habits.
