Did you want to travel and see the Seven Wonders Of The World? Well! If you’re live in Delhi, then you may not have to wait very long to see 7 wonders at the same time. Do you know what I am talking about? Delhi has a new tourist attraction – the Wonders Of The World Park.

What Is The Wonders Of The World Park?

Opened near the Sarai Kale Khan Bus Terminal, this park houses iconic monuments from all the world. Built by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation, this park will run solely on the power generated by solar energy. Now how is that for an environmental initiative! This idea has been borrowed from a similar park in Kota, Rajasthan.

Tell Me More

  • You will get to see and explore the seven original Wonders of the World – The Taj Mahal, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Pyramid of Giza, Christ the Redeemer, Colosseum, Eiffel Tower and The Statue of Liberty.
  • The entire park will be lit by power that will be generated using the solar panels placed on various structures.
  • The monuments have been fabricated with scrap automobile parts.
  • The replicas display information boards about the original monument. They give details of the scrap utilised in creating them — such as the use of old iron benches for the Christ the Redeemer statue and bicycle spare parts for the four minarets of the Taj Mahal.
  • The authorities have also provided a selfie spot where people can click photographs of themselves with these structures. We know how we all love that!
  • The park also includes eateries, a parking facility and a playing area for children.

So now you can plan your weekend and show your kids a bit of the world.
