Change of season is one more opportunity to declutter and let go of things we don’t find purpose in our daily lives. With summer setting in, most of us parents have had to pack up the warm clothes and put them into storage or even change various products we use in our attempt to get ready for the season.

Here are some areas in our homes other than our wardrobe that can do with a bit of decluttering during change of season.

1. Change of linens:

Linens for sure in most homes change with the season. As you pack up the thicker sheets, covers or blankets it’s a great time to review the items before putting them away. Keep only those you see yourself enjoy using again next season. Linens for the current season can also be edited depending on your actual requirement at your home.

2. Take a second look at furnishings:

Furnishings like cushion covers and throws are also another area that would require a change. If you possess winter stock that you have not even used through the season, it might make sense to really evaluate storing them.
