Madhuri Dixit on talent, fitness and opportunities after motherhood

Ofcourse we are all smitten by her smile , the way she conducts herself and how she quit at supposedly at the peak of her career to only come back.  Prioritizing family life and kids over all the glamour, the Mona Lisa of India believes that motherhood has never been a hindrance to her career.

She shot her comeback film with her kids by her side at all times. “I made sure I shot the film during their holidays. I couldn’t possibly leave them behind in the US. I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on my work.”

Quizzing her on motherhood she says “My sons have made me a fun person. Besides that, all the experiences that you go through in life make you mature, you realize life doesn’t have to be taken seriously all the time. My sons keep me on my toes,â€_x009d_ she adds.

She admits to being lucky and having the best of both worlds and believes in never taking a break from her passion
“Like any working mother I plan home, dance, work and other commitments keeping in mind that I need to give my best in all! I am blessed with a wonderful husband and children who make it all possible. If you set your priorities right, things automatically fall into place!”

For the dancing Diva fitness never took a backseat and she did not skip on grueling workouts thinking that the running behind kids does enough workout. “While having two little boys is a handful; I still manage to take time out for physical activity. She always combines fun and her love for outdoor “

While I have to admit that glamour is one of the toughest industries to have a baby in I do believe that the opportunities do take a different form after motherhood. Common Myths:
