The Key To Ace The Role Of The Multitasking Mommy!

I am clear about what my day looks like. It might not be 100% the same- but a broad idea gives me an edge, I must confess.

The nation-wide lockdown has become official and most of us moms are facing a house full of kids, elders and the husband- and in the absence of domestic help, it can get overwhelming. Sounds familiar? The day flies by and before you realise you have to reset to a whole new day, yet again!

Challenging it may be- but all that is needed is a little planning ahead. From the household chores to my meeting with my KSP family, I jot down every single detail and plan it ahead so in my head- I am clear about what my day looks like. It might not be 100% the same- but a broad idea gives me an edge, I must confess.

Here's how I do it:

  • I plan the day's meal ahead. I can't reiterate how this has helped me over the years, especially in the last few days where I pull off everything in the kitchen. The KSP 5 Indian Meal Plans Book sorts every meal for my family from morning to night- and that way I don't waste time thinking what to cook.
  • I work on prepping food so cooking takes lesser time. Keeping sauces, chutneys and boiling dals and all for 2 days. This has really helped.
  • Cooking as much as we need and not having fancy meals but nutrient-dense meals.
  • Getting the kids involved. This way they will learn in a fun way and they will want to help Mumma.

So how are you handling the lockdown? What do you do to claim your inner peace or the most revered me-time? Tell
