It’s tough getting those dry fruits in and if your child is like mine who once ate all of them as is but now refuses to even look at them then you must try this one. It also introduces new flavours with the berry infusion giving it a very fresh taste.

Preparation Time: 3 – 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. 2 spoons of Plain Quaker Oats
  2. 10 – 15 in all dried cranberries, raspberries, blueberries, black raisins(extremely rich source of iron)
  3. ½ cup milk
  4. 1 spoon Dry fruit powder: take almonds, walnuts, prunes, pistachios, cashew nuts, pecan & pine nuts in equal proportion. Grind them all into a fine powder. Put in an air tight box and refrigerate it for future use.
  5. Sugar if needed

Method:

Put the quaker oats in a small pan, add milk, dry fruit powder & all the berries together. Add sugar if needed basis your child’s liking. Add milk basis the consistency you would like. I prefer to add enough milk for the oats to cook faster & oats also absorbs the milk and starts thickening a sit cools.
