According to sources, Indian cricket's new superstar and captain, Virat Kohli is now a proud Vegan. One of the fittest Indian athletes, Kohli is said to have chosen veganism to help improve his fitness and finds himself stronger and healthier than before. When the run machine recommends this- you just try it! 

Neha Dhupia:

"I wasn’t born vegetarian, but it (veganism) was something I always want Suddenly, one day, I gave up eating meat. It made me feel so good, I never looked back. I’ve realised that the benefits of eating plant-based foods include feeling energetic and succeeding to keep weight in control." 
 

Shahid Kapoor:

B'wood's fittest actor and a father of two, Shahid Kapoor had claimed in several interviews that cutting down on dairy and dairy products led to increased stamina at work.

It is said that this superhero's decision to go vegan was prompted by a video about healthy eating, that was shown to him by his wife Kiran Rao who is a vegan herself. “At the end of it, I was convinced that vegans are way ahead of non-vegetarians and even vegetarians”, he is quoted as saying.

Lisa Haydon:

Lisa Haydon, a new mom, is a real fitness motivation for fellow mommies. And when quizzed about her favourite cuisine, she names the humble Dosa & Idli are a mainstay and she was born a vegan- something that she acquires from her parents.

Serena Williams:

Tennis's biggest superstar Serene Williams who became a mom a year ago also breaks the myth that veganism doesn't give you the required stamina.  "It (veganism)worked for me. Because I wanted to lean out, I also wanted to eat a lot healthier so I went vegan for 44 days. That worked out really well. Then I tried it again. But now, I’m vega-tarian", she has said. 

Brad Pitt:

This Hollywood heart-throb decided to become a vegan a long time back, confessing that he’s an ardent animal rights activist. He has often urged fans to adopt more greens in their diet while spreading awareness on the damage caused to the environment by methane gases produced from cattle slaughter.

Lionel Messi:

The favourite of the masses- Messi is reported to have chosen Vegan before the World Cup games to remain in top form. He stopped the intake of animal products and is said to have increased his consumption of fruits and vegetables. This, according to reports has helped him lose weight, reduce the risk of injuries and improved his performance. 

Beyonce: 

The renowned singer announced to the millions of her Instagram followers that she is going the vegan way to prepare herself for the Coachella festival last year. It was reported that Beyonce and Jay-Z opted for the vegan route together for 'a spiritual and physical cleanse'
