The festival of lights is a tempting time. Sweets and snacks alike, every greedy bite adds up. Diwali is a time to indulge in fun, family, and food. But with little sleep, no exercise and a sea of tempting delicacies, it can be a challenge to stay on track and keep your body in good shape.
We spoke to celebrity fitness trainer Sohrab Khushrushahi of SOHFIT and asked him about things that plague all of us when we indulge ourselves. I am sure you all have these questions –
- Will drinking affect my fitness?
- Will that plate of ladoos make me put on weight?
- How do I stay on top of my fitness game during festival time?
Sohrab's approach is extremely practical when it comes to fitness, exercising and eating. The one thing that he said that stuck me is that will power is what you need to get through this time. In fact, I think anyone trying to stay fit or lose weight needs a bit of will power to stick it through when things get tough.
